Dr. Arlene Rosen conducted sampling of all floors excavated in Field IV,
including cobbled floor G8005, by taking scrapings 10 cm. X 10 cm. at several
spots on the floors. The samples were then examined for the presence of
microartifacts, giving important information for determining the types of
activity that occurred in the rooms from which samples were taken.
